Of Counsel
Mr. Whitebook founded the law firm of Smoler, Lerman, Bente & Whitebook, P.A. in 1991 after having practiced with the firm of Leiby & Elder, P.A. Currently, Mr. Whitebook is associated with the firm in an “of counsel” capacity, while serving as chief operating officer at Atlantic Hosiery, Inc. and various affiliated entities. Mr. Whitebook was admitted to the Florida Bar and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida in 1989. Mr. Whitebook received his J.D. degree from the Nova Southeastern University Shepard Law Broad Center School of Law in 1989. While at Nova University, Mr. Whitebook was a member of the Nova Law Review where he published an article dealing with Florida’s dangerous instrumentality doctrine. Mr. Whitebook attended the University of Vermont as an undergraduate where he obtained his B.S. degree in Business Administration in 1986.
